Wegmans near the outlet mall is the best grocery store. TOPS is closer for quick stops. Wine on Third is a 5-minute walk โ€” fantastic for dinner. The Silo and Carmelo's in Lewiston are only open Mayโ€“September but absolutely worth planning around!

Cross via the Rainbow Bridge โ€” usually quick. The views from the Canadian side are spectacular and very different from the US side. Totally worth the short trip.

Skip the Canadian boat tour โ€” same as Maid of the Mist. What's truly worth it: Horseshoe Falls from above, the tourist center history film, walking Clifton Hill, then driving the wine route to Niagara-on-the-Lake โ€” gorgeous for lunch. From the waterfront gazebo you can see Fort Niagara on the other side of the river!
